Underwater, holding nose, hand in the air

Underwater, holding nose, hand in the air.  Get the picture.  Craft and Holiday shows take a tremendous amount of making, all of you who have done them know oh so well.  This is the last week and then it all gets packaged and prettied up over the weekend ready to set up for Monday.   I’ve enjoying my roll of creative madness but I am looking forward to sinking into the holiday for some relaxation time, a couple good books and not much to be doing but taking long walks with the pawed ones. I’ve a few sneak peaks and not much else…IMG_7233

A hand stitched art quits in the works with one of my crazy machine stitched hearts as the focal point

A starry secret I’ll reveal soon.

And a bit of Christmas cheer, our small table tree with it’s lights, not an ornaments on it yet.  Maybe later today.

See ya when I come up for air. In the meantime, make, donate, thrift,  recycle, re-gift and keep a look out for your neighbors this holiday season.

  7. I bet you are ready to be done. Getting ready for a fair is always an insane amount of work. Just don’t gulp in any water in the meantime. 🙂

  8. Merry Christmas to the Queen of Creative Madness! Just breathe and enjoy the ride, my friend! Mwah!

  9. Making things for a holiday show is pretty all consuming. I participated in one last year and it seems that it was non stop for three months. It was a nice sense of accomplishment when I finished and got it set up. Enjoy the show.

  10. the sneak Peaks are very promising… i can imagine that preparing for Shows is a lot of fun, but a lot of work, too!
hope you get a lot of Relaxing time anyway!

  12. Your show is going to be awesome- perhaps Santa needs to get you painted snorkel gear for under the tree! Those walks with the furry ones sounds like a great idea…and mine are wagging tails at me now so you’ve just sparked me to take them out for a little fresh air! Thanks for sharing with Let’s Play!

  15. Your colors are beautiful. It will be exciting when we get to see the finished pieces!

  16. Haha! What a larf.
Just think how amazing it will be to be “on holiday” later, and I’m sure you will have a tremendous time at the show.
Love that textile heart with all its texture and colour, I wonder what it is going to end up as – a bag? a cushion? a textile tag?
    Tree looks festive too.
    Happy December!

  17. Oh yes, I can relate! That last picture says it all ;-D

  18. This is why, when my husband says why not do a Christmas fair…I say ‘NO’! Lol! 🙂
Your little bit of quilt looks beautiful Corrine…something else I’d like to try someday.
    Have a great weekend,
