5 Minute Make

Five minutes, that’s all the time for journal play this morning, before tomorrow’s Thanksgiving in the USA.  It’s a warm up to get back into the journal which truthfully, I haven’t touched in a month or more.  Holiday making in full swing.  Cat, I draw cats even though I don’t have one, they draw me to draw them.  We do have a cool kind of wild hunter cat next door, maybe she’s the influence as she skulks along the fence line so the dogs won’t see her.  Whatever the reason; cat.

Started on a journal page with just a bit of paint.  You know I’ve got doll in mind too.

  1. Love your cats, I love watching the neighbor’s cat skulking around! Have a great day and a happy Thanksgiving! Hugs, Valerie

  2. Funny how just a change in color make each cat seem unique. Sometimes, I play in PSE just to see what I get. Today, you got a triptych of fun! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Corrine! Mwah!

  3. What a cool cat! Super! Happy Thanksgiving! oxo Susi

  4. Thanks for stopping by at Just Tickety Boo – Love your “speed” art for today!

  5. pamelaarts says:

Yup — five minutes works — a little here and a little there adds up to **ART** – Happy Thanksgiving, Corrine. xo

  6. cute cat!

  7. Such a very confident cat. Clever framing use of washi tape.
    Five minutes?!!!!

  8. She’s a fun kitty. I love to draw kitty’s too. But I bet your neighbor’s cat really needs to slip unnoticed by the fence, she probably saw the groundhog incident and maybe the duck trauma and is smart enough to be sneaky-even on her side of the fence. have a great Thanksgiving!

  9. Bleubeard will gladly give this cat two paws up! And I like the “different” cats you got jus by changing colors. Really adorable and I could see this silly cat turned into a doll, too!

Happy Thanksgiving, dear friend. Make sure it’s fun, safe, and warm.
