Weekend Hodge Podge

9 Flares Filament.io 9 Flares ×

Spent the weekend doing small projects.  Around the house, in the yard and in the studio.

Put some garlands up on the painted wall in the guest room (lavender Pino pillow by artist Katherine Dunn).

Made paper flowers and put them in the hangout space.

Shibori dyed and over-dyed thrifted fabrics, t shirts and some vintage feed sacks.  Can you say WATERMELON PINK

Painted, printed and stamped some paper to tip in a new journal I will be taking to a workshop in August.

And, walked the Ella dog at the beach and took time to smell the wild roses.

It really didn’t seem like I did much at all but I just kept moving and accomplished more than I imagined.  That’s a good thing.
