Keep Out

Now that our farmhouse is almost done I’ve been thinking about doing a major purge in my brain about what I want to be creating and what no longer serves me.  And a major purge all over the house.  An after moving, gosh why did we bring that box of stuff purge.  To that event I have been reading “the life-changing magic of tidying up” by Marie Kondo. It’s a wonderful book and I am looking forward to slimming down and clearing out in more ways than one.  So the words keep and out have been swirling around in my head and showed up in my journal today.

I figure if I get it out of my head, or keep it out of my head, I can get it out of my life.  At least I am trying to believe that way.  Amidst the chaos of stuff, keep out of my head.

  8. I havn’t read the book but I have promised myself this would be the year of the purge. We havn’t got too far with it yet but I have plans for the summer months. Good luck with your purging!

  9. Hope that books will help! Sometimes we need to see things from differnet angels .. and books are a good idea for this! Great pages Corinne! Love them!

  10. A lovely sentiment. Purging: we all need to do more of it. Spring seems to be the time when my purging impulses kick in. The detritus of my studio has grown to overwhelming proportions. I wonder why I’ve kept all this stuff… but as is usually the case, as soon as I get rid of an item, or a box, I inevitably need it. That said, Goodwill just took a bunch of stuff with which we were able to part. 🙂 Happy Spring, Corrine!
