A Muse Doll for 2015 – WIP

4 Flares Filament.io 4 Flares ×

This year I decided to create a muse doll for myself.  Something to inspire on those days when I am less than enthused.  Her name is Clover, which can be clearly seen on her feedsack body.  She is a WIP.  She had a  blue button eye, but did not like it so she asked me to remove it and come up with something ever more stitch-y, which I did.  She needs more(don’t we all) and she may in fact, be a WIP for the rest of the year.  For now she sits on my work table sharing her thoughts on a daily basis.  It’s rather nice having some company besides the canine variety.  Fur is wonderful, but a good chat up with a pal is somehow comforting.  At the moment, she’s not much of a coffee drinker, but who knows, that may change.

We all evolve, hopefully, right?  So too will she.  Stay tuned.

Funny how she goes with all the colors of my life.

  18. Clover will be the perfect companion for you this year. I’m sure she’ll guide you through some wonderful art decisions, too. That makes her a great muse, too. I hope to see more of Clover over the next few months.

  19. Well, lucky you having Clover in your studio and I can testify that a “soft” helper makes all the difference. Some of my teddies are a bit upset about the safety pin and I’ll email you a story about that. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Clover and how she develops (or stays the same).
