Mixed Media Alchemy — Lucky Star Art Camp

3 Flares Filament.io 3 Flares ×

November is fast approaching and that means I head on down to Texas for a romping good time at Lucky Star Art Camp, November 5-9, 2014.

Time for daydream believing and sleepaway art camp for grown-ups.  What could be better you say? Well getting to teach of course.  I am so LUCKY to be in the company of some wonderful artists,  sewists, quilters, writers, musician’s and magical food artisans, healing yogini’s and nature artisans.  Camp fires will be burning, songs will be sung, horses will be ridden and we will be creating in a blissfully sublime location at Camp Waldemar in Hunt, Texas on the banks of the Guadalupe River.

Class offerings are varied and intriguing.  You can find them all here .

I will teaching Mixed Media Alchemy – a creative exploration, an awareness opener, a materials limiter to free up the road blocks to creating anywhere, with almost anything.MixedMediaAlchemy

New ways of LoOkiNg and demonstrations using ordinary materials found around the house.

I hope you will join me for the experience of a place where daydreams do become reality.   This  November 5-9th, 2014.  Hurry, it’s only 50 sleeps away.  Registration closes Friday, October 24th.  Do something just for you. Lucky Star Art Camp

  1. The stories these pieces have to tell- your workshops are going to knock their socks off!

  2. This sounds like an awesome opportunity for you, and I KNOW your students will benefit from your artistic abilities. And I like the idea of using everyday items, similar to things in my own playbook. I’m sure you’ll get lots of takers, too.
