Painting fabrics for various projects in my head including my pouf or pouf’s.  Not only is it fun getting stuck in, painting with my hands, making graffiti marks, but it’s a great stress reliever. After running back and forth to the farmhouse rehab, or working on detail in the office, messing about with the paints on fabric and letting my mind wander is a wonderful thing.  Here are the four that are done so far and some process  of them as well.  Might have enough to start sewing next week…

Also found some lips on my painting board, which became the impetus for this face.  I like how she looks at me before I cover her up with canvas.  As if she is saying, okay, so what are you going to do today? My painting board is a big 4×6 sheet of floor underlayment(homesote) which the Superhero mounted to the wall,  It has a frame of 1×3″ wood that keeps it stiff and a strip on top to mount a light.  Works great for those who like to painting standing up…

So today…get messy, be bold, paint away.  I know I will.
