Grids and More…

I spent most of today – ugh – cleaning my studio.  It was time for a serious reorganization and de-stash.  Two grocery bags of recycled paper scraps are heading to the end of the road and I have whittled those scraps down to one small box.  I moved things around and made them more efficient for me to use and I am still not done.  But I wasn’t about to take the whole day and not create something.  So I am catching up on some much needed mail art to be swapped(check out Mail Me Some Art and see what open swaps are there, soooooo fun) and more to be sent out right away.  This is what is ready to go right now.

  1. Yummo….what delicious bits.

  2. Lovely papers in scrummy colours. My place needs decluttering, too, I think I need to order a dumpster to take it away! Valerie

  3. I love the purple … All work and no play is how the saying goes … here’s proof

  4. Lovely, lovely, purple and orange, my favorites. I wish my cleaning efforts looked that pretty!

  5. Love the purples and the stars. I worked on some index cards today. Made a bunch of backgrounds and played with a “spring” themed swap that June has going. It’s on her schedule of swaps, but she hasn’t announced it yet! Getting an early start!

  12. If I learned anything from moving this past summer was to NOT keep my scraps.. or most of them. I’d say this was a win win for you and lucky “getters”.

  13. I’m participating in a year long circle journal thingy, but have never done or received any mail art. Sounds like it might be fun. I do so love getting stuff (other than ads and bills) in the mail!
