She Listened with the Flowers to the Song of the Blue Bird

Last Monday I shared a painting in it’s early stages in this post “Get Out Of Your Head and Into Your Body”  Lots of scribbles and marks and bright oranges and turquoises and yellows.  The story was unfinished .  Over the course of this week the painting finished itself with the help of some active listening on my part. I will be super busy tomorrow so I thought I would share a day early…..

More scribbles, some collage, clear gesso, more paint, pastels and pen mark, pipe insulation(thanks Mary Beth Shaw for that sweet tip)….

She listened with the flowers to the song of the blue bird….

  10. I really, REALLY like this, Corrine. I am so glad that I could “blow it up” and then use my magnifying glass and see the little details that I otherwise would have missed. Brilliant color palette! And, I loved finding the word SPARKLING in one of the bits of text you used. Now, THAT made me smile! Hugs! K
