Mail Art Love — Uses It’s Words

20 Flares Filament.io 20 Flares ×

A window of time opened up this morning and I finally had a chance to display some of the fabulous mail art that has been arriving at my doorstep in the past few months.  I was also thinking about Carolyn Dube’s Use Your Words free class and the two just came together.  What better way to illustrate the graphic nature of words than in these mail art posts you are about to see.  Mail art is often most graphic, humorous and great at making fun of the world or speaking out about important issue to make us aware.  The use of type – much of it recycled – or handwritten – illustrated so beautifully the concept of using your words.  I wanted to share all my great friends with you by creating this wall collage of mail art — as in inspiration for me — and for you.
