All the magic was already inside her, she only had to be still and listen…
This year of telling my story, of Lifebook 2013, of Brave Girls Art School and wings, of stencils and gelli with Carolyn and polymer clay with Judy and video chat’s with my far flung tribes are leading me deeper into listening to my own heart, my own story and letting go of everything except where it leads. This page was going to be a game board journey and ended up bringing out another spirit form, with a wing with an internal map of magic story to listen to. When it was finished I felt pulled to walk in the woods, to hear the strong winds/wings move the stories through the trees, to watch the flock of bluebirds flit from tree to tree, to watch Ella stick her nose in the holes in the pasture to smell the stories of who might be living there…walking, listening, walking listening and hearing the unheard.
All the magic was already inside her, she only had to be still and listen…are you listening?

Oh so soulful, your play with colors and texture is beautiful, loving your colorful works!
Fabulous colour.
Fascinating surface details, Corrine.
Oh Corrine those words are so perfectly true. I try to listen and follow my own heart as you do.
We are lucky for being able to express this through out art and through the beautiful environment which surrounds us.
Thank you for your very kind comment.
Enjoy your weekend!
Hugs,
Suzy
listen … yes … the universe sometimes has to take a 2×4 … listen …. YES!
Just gorgeous colors, texture, everything. I love this page and your woman, so deep in reflection that only her third eye is seeing. xoxo
Powerful image!
I can get lost in that piece of art! Each time I scroll back up to look I see another detail in the paints- the subtle textures – the magic! Thanks for starting my day with such a soulful creation!
your interpretations of letting go are incredible…I see exactly what you say you are feeling….fantastic Corrine!
great polymer piece fromJudy’s class – it works really well in this piece.
This page has me captured. I want to eat it.. well, not really, but its so beautiful. AND your clay piece is gorgeous next to the wing. Aren’t you excited to make more next week? Weeeeeeeeeeeee! Our “buttons n’bellishements” always find a place in our art.

this is brilliant! loving the color- awesome
Ooh Corrine, an amazingly beautiful and ethereal piece of art. This has blown me away today, sigh! It really speaks to my Piscean eternally spiritual side and takes me away on a wave of calm, thank-you sweetie.
Huge hugs x
Love this piece.
Not listen quite as well as I should these days…
But that’s okay.
Maybe tomorrow…
Happy Weekend !
crushing on blues…I love blue. The cold weather has me seeking out stories. Books are my downfall but Netflix The Vampire Diaries have me hooked. They drag the story out a bit but the twist and turns are great. twists and turns are where it’s at!
Love the colours of your papers and the designs you created
Well it is official–we are both signed up for all the same classes, LOL! I love that this started out as one thing and turned into another. Those words–SO true! This is beautiful!
Your words really captured my heart and imagination today, Corrine. Such wonderful imagery…again expressed in your beautiful art. As you know, I’ve been doing bit of my own listening lately. There seems to be a lot of that going around lately! Have a wonderful, creative weekend!
This is a beautiful page and post. The color is so intense and the textures are lovely.
This really picks me up! I so love the richness of it – the spiritual feel; it really is uplifting! Thank you! xxoo
Love the imagery created by your words and how they resonate with the art. Fabulous use of your fave bright colors – they just make me happy! (and obviously you too)
Hey, wow, I’m filled in already, cool (thanks)
Love the colors & mix of textures, when do you have time to sleep?
