Exploring texture which I love, and whimsy with added elements. Hotter colors on this cold and blustery day. Cradled panel, acrylic, wood icing stencil(Julie Fei-Fan Balzer) and wooden game pieces, painted canvas and hand painted cereal box papers, china black pencil.
Temps are dropping here to low single digits with wind so the orange pulled at me to warm up the wood like the fire blazing in the wood stove right now.

I wish I could touch this. The texture looks amazing. And those colors are so bright and vibrant. If they don’t warm you up then nothing will.
Today we had the door open for a while. I think it got into the high 60′s but still cold at night.
