Medieval Leaves Race Some Pretty Slick Roads in the 2012 Stencil Test Drive

It’s Stencil Test Drive time again….read all about it at Jessica’s blog here and see her new post with links to all the fabulous participants here..

Medieval Leaves – what can I say.  This stencil has provided so much in the way of opportunity to take it anywhere.  It is at once feminine and Arthurian.  I can picture using it on a dress with lace, and at the same time can visualize it on a knight’s shield.  I used it in as many ways as I could.  On fabric, on cradled board with wood icing, on paper with paint, inky sprays and stamp pads and I still want to use it again and again.  Each time I used it the results were beautiful, crisp, and refined.  Well, you’ll see below where I went with it.

Please be sure to visit Jessica’s blog and see what the other artist’s did.  I can only imagine and will be hopping over there too…….also, visit StencilGirl Products not only for this stencil, But Jessica’s other stencils and wood icing too. Here are the participants in this test drive with me…Carolyn Dube, Maria McGuire and Rhonda Palazarri. Enjoy…
