Art Making with Friends

My friend Judy Shea graced me with her presence on Sunday and gave me a comprehensive tutorial on working with polymer clay.  I was delighted with my results as a beginner and it was only because Judy was so encouraging and intuitive as a teacher.  Keep an eye out because Judy will be teaching an online class at Joggles.com in the new year.

After spending several hours shaping and baking and finishing our clay pieces we got REALLY MESSY with inky sprays, acrylic paint, a gelli plate and some stencils(we are both in Jessica Sporn’s Stencil Test Drive – click the button on my sidebar for lots more information or follow the link here).  So we decided to test out some stencils, Jessica’s included on a spree that left us both covered with everything and lots of papers to be added to other projects later, well, you’ll see.
