The 40 Day Creativity Experiment – Part Deux

6 Flares 6 Flares ×

Earlier this year I participated in the 40 Day Creativity Experiment and I am doing it again.  One minute a day for 40 days which turned into alot more than that for me.  As I got going I got playing and delved deeper into the project which you can see mostly finished here.  I started today – a day late really with one sheet of painted paper cut into 4 strips as the start of my newest spiral sculptural book.  You too can join in the fun – any way you like, any medium, anything , doesn’t have to be art, just has to be… and share it on the link above.  Won’t you join my good friend Damini whose creation this is and play along with me.

  1. What a wonderful project. Love your colors – so vibrant and textural! xxoo

  2. Looks like fun!

  3. What a great idea! That is a serious time limit- one minute! Your sculptural book is really talking to me today- I think you’ve lit a little fire of creativity for me today!

  4. What a fun idea…I would be like you and go way over the one minute.

  5. Well, Corrine.. you know how much I love my scroll I made in your studio. One minute? I guess one minute a day is better than none, right? Just like exercising. I’d rather art.

  6. watching your daily progress last time around inspired me to do it this time. I think this will be really good for me to work on a single piece for 40 days. I tend to rush through things in one sitting, or at most two sittings. It will be interesting to see where restraint will get me 🙂

  7. I considered joining this, then saw it was on facebook, a social media site I don’t belong to. But I applaud you for your work, your commitment, and your energy. Way to go, Corrine.

  8. It looks like fun, Corrine! I just adore your color choices!

  9. I always enjoy seeing your marvelous creations, so colorful, and powerful! You make that one minute shine!

  10. A minute a day, huh? I followed your progress last time and loved the spiral books you made – what a challenge at this time of year to commit to anything for every day. But then I think, it’s just one minute – surely I have a few minutes every day to make something creative, right? Hmmmm – what should I tackle in small bits?

  11. Your paper is gorgeous. Not that I need one more thing to do, but I must say I am intrigued by the 40 Day Creativity Experiment. I’m going to head over and check it out…just may have to join you!

  12. I think this was a very – for lack of a better word – Zen experience for you and glad you’re back into it. I’m going to check the link and look forward to what beautiful art you make and the insight it gives you.

  13. You are only allowed to work on it for one minute a day? Now that is a challenge! Looking good.
