Wednesday Wake-Up

7 Flares 7 Flares ×

A little creativity wake-up going on.  I have been buried under too much work and not enough play, journaling to do, mail to make, paint to paint…..and after the big rain this morning the sun is shining through…Silly stories about reading is fun…

Listening to stories and making art to mail…

Painting and playing on pages to come…

Reading is fun, I’m reading Helsinki White by James Thompson, what are you reading this week?  Did you get some great mail and what are you painting just because? Tell me, do, because I want to know what is up with you?

  1. so glad to hear you didnt wash out to sea this am! the weather chanel had you all being drowned! your pics look happy and brite as ever. love the last one. what am I doing …still painting backgrounds and back to excavating file cabinets! you have mail coming which will explain the first!

  2. Just finished ready Frankenstein by Mary Shelley….and now have my nose in ‘The Alexander Cipher’ by Will Adams. Only a couple chapters in but its grabbed me so i’m off on another grand adventure! Fixin’ to start two MailArt postcards this week! Other than that taking a little breather after The Mushroom House. 🙂 Hugs! deb

  3. Love your listening to stories. I’m reading The Dark Vineyard (A Mystery of the French Countryside) by Martin Walker. Heard him on NPR and thought I’d try his mysteries. This is the second in the series. As the NYTimes says: “A gentle reminder to slow down and smell the grapes” !!!!!

  4. I am trying to finish reading The Happiness Project. It is tough because I have no time to even open the book right now! But I have left it out of boxes just in case….love your intuitive painting concepts!

  5. I love that you’re sun is shining through. It shows in every word and color that I read & saw above.

  6. Now that sounded just like a Dr. Seuss rhyme. I have been trying to read The Help for a month. And I am only on chapter 2. My life needs some balance. I don’t have enough Feng shui. 🙂

Thank you for your encouraging visits…I wish you were here to cheer me on too.

  7. just finished Austen’s Persuasion, it was the only one I had not read and I really liked it… have more art to do for my MI store so off again to the studio, so fun to see what you are working/playing on… x

  8. Love your art, so colourful and sounds so liberating!

Thanks for your kind words on my blog 🙂

  9. I enjoy these papers! I got a cool postcard from someone and I sent out some ATCs. Im working on some pages for a collaboration, which make me nervous, and I’m reading The Night Circus right now.
