Erosion Bundle Reveal 2

0 Flares 0 Flares ×

Summer colds have invaded our household
and I am also flagging in the heat. Spent the better
part of two days sleeping and hydrating.

After a morning nap, I mustered some energy
to work on the Erosion Bundle materials still
in the mix. Please visit with Kris at
and say thanks for this great project and check out all the great
artists participating.

A cereal box, covered with a baquette bag,
covered in coffee ground stains, some feed bag
kraft, a bit of sewn and painted kraft, sewn, painted
and waxed kraft and bundle string.

I kept thinking a prayer flag for grains?

Perhaps I shall hang it in the garden to invite
good spirits…

I think hanging in the garden is a perfect idea it can further erode ……then you could add to it ….and so on ….a piece of art that keeps giving !!….xx

  2. Nice Piece!!!!! Love it ๐Ÿ™‚
I will surely feature this on the erosion blog!

    Need to direct people to:
Not Brain Bubbles….that's my personal blog ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. ooops! i see you did put the erosion bundle blog link in there! Sorry ๐Ÿ™‚ I thought you didn't.
OK….I need some sleep now. Too many mistakes in one hour means nap time.
And thank you so much for acknowledging the project this way! I really appreciate it.

It looks like all these pieces of this and that were ment to be together. I love the muted colours and all the different textures. I'm sure it will fend off any bad spirits.
    Hope you feel better soon!

  5. You won the Hooked On Murder book! Send me your address (I may have it here somewhere but to make sure .. send it to me again). I'll get the book off to you as soon as I can! (Love the bundle … I've been thinking about doing one)….

  6. This is great, love that string!

Too cool! I made a sort of an "erosion bundle" with Seth at Altered Page. I can't put it outside anymore, but making a new one – rats! should have done it earlier with all the bad weather we've had – but I have so many pieces of recyclable cereal boxes and stuff that an outside hanging piece of art sounds like a great idea. Glad I followed your link from Judy Wise's blog!
