When You Are Awake at 3:00 AM-Inside The Orange Circle

When you are awake at 3:00 am
because your large black dog
senses a change in the barometric
pressure….thunderstorms on the way.

What do you do?
Well, read, let dogs in and out,
listen to the night noises of bullfrogs and
peepers, owls and an occasional coyote
bring in the laundry you left
on the line, make coffee, and oh,
of course,
blog-hop.

Post your comments, check out your
friends and then you check out there
friends and their friends and their friends.

After you have traveled the world via
your computer, you realize a most important
thing about this world, the work, this making
and the people you connect with in this
virtual world and beyond.

If everyone who made:
art, music, sang, wrote, sewed,
quilted, gardened, cooked, photographed
invented, engineered, built
and any other creative thing in the world
all got together and opted to cooperate,
barter, give and receive, accept, love ourselves,
we could figure
it all out,
we could just figure it all out…

As I sit here at 4:14 AM:
I am in awe
I am amazed
I am thankful
I am blessed
I am happy
I am lucky
I am what we all are
alive, really, really vibrantly
alive and I county my lucky
stars, which I can see out my
window that all these billions
of creative humans are in this
world and we could just figure
it out….we could just figure
it all out.

Inside the orange circle (of creativity???)

Amen! A few months ago, I had Hope that we had figured it out, but alas, that hope is being bashed more and more every day. That's why I'm with you… blogging beats watching Fox news every day in every way!!! Thanks for being my friend and part of my lifeline to sanity.
