Back in the Saddle Again and Candace Chills Out

365/collage, something I did for
four months and then sort of flagged
in May.

Intuitive painting lured me in
with it’s sensual, spiritual,
soul satisfying ways.

Now I feel like the two have merged,
become one, some days the paint takes
over, other day’s the collage speaks my
name, so I go with the flow and feel
deeply happy just to be using my
hands to make something…

A recycled envelope called to me
for embellishment.  How could I refuse?

Three cranky old men
brightened by color!

How can you stay stoic with that blue?

Candace arrived last night after a harrowing
two week trip in the post and a day spent
zipping around Boston with David. Please visit
her big sis Kim at Numinosity Beads and read
all about her and check out Kim’s gorgeous beads.

After a peaceful night’s sleep she decided
a quiet r&r  day was in order, a little sun
and a quick read of the new Prims magazine
from Somerset Studio.  Of course she is way more
glam than anyone in this issue, but she decided
to check out the competition.

After a little sun, it was time for the shade and a late
morning snooze.

After her refreshing rest a little play time
seemed in order and she hastily climbed the
bamboo fend to frolic among the ivy leaves
feeling that the cool greens complimented her dress.

Time to smell the flowers

And a quiet afternoon reading and lounging await.

  5. Candace looks so peaceful, & having such fun! Color squeezes my chest so I can hardly breath with joy, then I look away at sun silvered driftwood encrusted & rusted & I feel peace. Life is full of contrasts.
